It can seat up 140 covers per night but beware, this still gets booked up in advance. The Beach House menu has vegetarian options and limited vegan options so it can be enjoyed by all preferences. For an additional charge, you can book a table at one of P&O Britannia’s specialty restaurants. I would compare this to a mini-suite on sister ships with Princess Cruises.

Fellow Passengers
As it’s the most expensive type of cabin on Britannia, I’d fully recommend doing plenty of research before booking so that you choose the right one for you. Bathrooms all have glass shower screens, consigning clingy curtains to the dustbins of history (at least, we hope so). Bathroom products come courtesy of the White Company and include bottles of shampoo, shower gel and hand lotion, as well as a fixed dispenser in the shower.

On this page are the current deck plans for Britannia showing deck plan layouts, public venues and all the types of cabins including pictures and videos. There are nine different restaurants on board Britannia, including Freedom and Club dining options, plus coffee shops and cafés where you might enjoy a snack. For a more informal meal, head to the Horizon buffet and savour flavours from around the world or try the poolside pizzeria and grill. MV Britannia cruise ship cabins with balconies are 1362 (excluding the larger-balconied Suites), located on all cabin decks (max capacity 4 guests per cabin).

Pool towels are already in your cabin when you arrive so that you can use them on the ship or at the beach. There is generous wardrobe space with shelves and drawers, which I found was plenty of storage for a fortnight’s cruise. Staterooms to be avoided by people prone to seasickness are with stern and bow locations on upper decks. This venue also hosts talks and demonstrations from special guests, musical performances and even game shows. Keep an eye on the Horizon newspaper on board to see what’s on each day. Yes, Freedom and Club dining are both available in the Peninsular, Oriental and Meridian Restaurants.

Eric “Cake Boy” Lanlard has also recently given Britannia's sweet treats a makeover, with new menus in the Market Cafe as well as his Afternoon Tea in the Epicurean. Britannia is also big on art, with a huge collection of more than 6,000 pieces. You can see these pieces everywhere -- in the cabins, the corridors and the restaurants -- and all are originals from British artists, commissioned by the line. Britannia is the largest liner in P&O Cruises UK's fleet and also the ever-biggest passenger ship constructed for the UK source market.
Cruises often work out remarkably reasonable compared to Caribbean package holidays. These packages are cheaper if you pre-purchase them at least three days before your cruise, using your My P&O Cruises account. Any alcohol purchased in port must be declared once you return to the ship.
The ship is not showy (except perhaps in the atrium); it's all about understated luxury. The overriding colour scheme throughout is nautical blues and creams, soft greys and touches of gold and silver. Stand-out features include the stunning three-tier atrium complete with a star burst sculpture made from shards of aluminium and bathed in coloured light.

I would say the size of the balcony is not huge but fine if you enjoy to sit outside and get some sea air. An inside cabin is a perfect option for those who like to spend their time enjoying the ship’s facilities and public areas. I also like how dark the room is if you want to sleep or take a nap during the day. The difference between the aft suites and other suites are a wider balcony, and with the forward suites you get a longer balcony. Despite some concern, the balconies are not as small as many people feared -- they comfortably house two chairs, with plenty of space on either side, and a small table and foot stool.

The tour leaves you for an hour at Runaway Beach, enough time for a swim and a local beer. It’s easy to see the appeal of the beaches in Antigua, picture-perfect. Known for having one beach for every day of the year (yes it has 365 beaches!) and its famous naval history. The ship docks in the capital St Johns, and as far as I could see there isn’t a beach within walking distance. Our trip was only a couple of hours and first headed to Discovery Beach where we picked up our kayaks. We kayaked for around minutes to a small bay (there were no other people), so it was suitable for people that haven’t kayaked before.
Britannia has a total of 1,837 cabins with 27 of those being single cabins (inside and balcony), in addition to conventional inside and balcony cabins; 64 of the cabins are designated as suites. For the first time on a P&O Cruises ship, all outside cabins have balconies. Britannia has four pools including a dedicated pool for teenagers, and the Oasis Spa. There are 3 choices of room onboard which I like because it doesn’t overwhelm you with options and price difference.
Single-occupancy cabins (called Studios/designed for solo travellers) are 27, and all are located on Lido Deck (deck 16). The balcony stretches the length of the rooms so there is plenty of space for sun loungers and deck chairs. Britannia is a family-friendly ship and offers age specific children’s clubs on board. She’s home to 1,837 cabins including 448 Inside, 1,206 Balcony, 92 Superior Deluxe Balcony, 64 Suite and 27 Single cabins.
During her summer season, Britannia sails to the Mediterranean, Norwegian fjords, the Baltic, Canary Islands and Atlantic Islands. This gave me space to work (yes, I was working!), and that game-changer of a balcony. I absolutely love a balcony, those sunset beers of waking up for sunrise and watching us sail into a new destination. The Epicurean Restaurant offers modern, British fine dining and is located near the Crow’s Nest on Deck 16. This specialty dining venue is open for breakfast for suite guests and dinner for any passengers with an advanced booking.
The first British ship to offer cooking lessons at sea, The Cookery Club provides guests an opportunity to hone their cooking techniques under the watchful eye of food experts and chefs. Aboard the Britannia, passengers can cook alongside baking queen Mary Berry and TV chef James Martin. Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar teaches guests how to make dishes from Sindhu - his signature restaurant. Celebrity chef Marco Pierre White also runs a class, demonstrating his famous dishes whilst passengers cook alongside him. Built in 2015, the Britannia cruise ship weighs 144K tons and has 1836 staterooms for up to 4406 passengers served by 1350 crew. You can expect a space ratio of 33 gross tons per passenger on this ship.
At least that’s what you get a Caribbean cruise with P&O Cruises, together with gorgeous sunshine, crystal clear waters, wildlife and rum punch. Evening casual wear can be worn on non-formal nights of your cruise. This is best described as outfits you would wear to a nice restaurant. Live music can be found in most of the bars and lounges in the evenings. If you particularly enjoy dancing, I’d recommend heading to The Crystal Room for big band music and ballroom dancing.

For the naming ceremony was used a nebuchadnezzar British Brut NV (from Winston Estate Winery, England's Sussex region). For the cruise ship's christening event, thousands of bottles "Rose Vintage 2011" and "Brut NV" were delivered. While P&O UK has already linked up with celebrity chefs for Cookery Club school, Britannia will also act as a backdrop to the first at sea celebrity-led TV cooking contest, Battlechefs, from April 4. On April 2, 2016, the ship will be the setting for another first as she will host live Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway from the top deck.
